Corbae Creative, formerly A.T. Design, is thankful that we’ve been able to provide design services successfully since 2002. Our clients are wonderful and being able to go to work every day and do what we love while still making money is an amazing feeling. We do love to give back, but did you know that there are only 24 hours in a day? To keep the balance between projects dedicated to charitable organizations and projects that allow us to keep the lights on, our stated policy is to take on one pro-bono (free or significantly discounted) project per year that we feel very strongly about.
What does that mean for you? If you’re reading this and are interested in contacting Corbae regarding a project for your charitable organization, here are a few things you should know:
- We work with clients who value our design, expertise, process, and time, whether it is paid or not. Prior to beginning the project, an agreement, signed by both parties will detail the project scope, deadlines, and client/designer-specific tasks. If tasks are not met on the part of the client, we reserve the right to bill the client for the full value of the project.
- We fully acknowledge that our decision-making process on what project to take on each year is completely arbitrary. There are some areas that we do feel strongly about and tend towards:
- Particularly education for women and arts education
- Environmental issues
- Organic food and living
